Passwords must be at least 12 characters long and include the following four types of characters:

• Upper-case Letters (A, B, C, ...)
• Lower-case Letters (a, b, c, ...)
• Number (1, 2, 3, ...)
• Special Characters (!, @, #, ...)

It cannot include your student number and cannot be the same as any of your two passwords. It also cannot include your pinyin abbreviation.

For example, one student named "Zhang San". His password which is "Atx@18963"  is a valid password, because it contains 12 characters, uppercase ("A"), lowercase ("tx"), numbers ("18963") and special symbol ("@"). However, "zs123456" is invalid, because it only contains two types of characters and includes the pinyin abbreviation.

Password Expiry

You are required to change the password every 365 days. Within 15 days before its expiration date, you will receive an email notification to remind you to change your password in time. If the password expires, you will not be able to access the related services and facilities until you change your password.

Forgotten or Expired Passwords

You can set your security mailbox, security phone number and APP via Password Self-service System. When you forget your password or your password expires, you can retrieve the password through any of the verification methods by yourself.
